Pataudi family member Ibrahim Ali Khan to make Bollywood debut as an actor
Actor Sara Ali Khan has recently confirmed that her younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan will be making his Bollywood debut as an actor with an upcoming film. Ibrahim is the son of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh and the brother of Sara Ali Khan. There have been earlier reports of the young star kid assisting Karan Johar in the making of his upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Now, he is all set to make his mark in front of the camera and is already done with the shoot for his debut movie.
Sara Ali Khan confirms Ibrahim’s Bollywood debut
Sara Ali Khan, who is currently at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, recently spilled the beans on her brother’s Bollywood debut during an interview with renowned film critic Anupama Chopra. Sara confirmed that Ibrahim had just finished shooting for his first-ever film as an actor.

However, the news didn’t seem to sit well with a section of social media users. The video of Sara’s confirmation on her brother’s Bollywood debut was shared on Reddit, and users were quick to react with groans and eye-rolls. Some of the comments included:
- “This is the ideal profession for them. Come on, what do you expect them to be? Rocket scientists?”
- “Nepo This Nepo That , One more gonna be shoved down our throat.”
While some users criticized the rampant nepotism in the industry, others felt that it was unfair for star kids to be subjected to constant scrutiny and ridicule for decisions made by their parents.
Ibrahim Ali Khan is the latest of the Pataudi clan to make a foray into Bollywood. Apart from his father Saif Ali Khan and sister Sara Ali Khan, other family members who have made their mark in the industry include his late grandfather Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, his mother’s relatives Rishi Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor, and his aunt Soha Ali Khan. Only time will tell if Ibrahim can carry forward the family legacy and make his mark in Bollywood as well.
