Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has made history by being the only Bollywood star who got a film screening at the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Her film, Kennedy, directed by Anurag Kashyap was selected for a midnight screening and her husband Daniel Weber was her plus one at the event.

Weber shared a post on his Instagram account to celebrate Leone’s success at the Cannes Film Festival. He praised Leone for being the inspiration to millions and celebrated her success as a beacon of light at the film festival. Weber also gave a shoutout to Kashyap and the cast and crew of Kennedy for showing their movie to the world.
Leone’s Response
Leone also took to Instagram to express her pride in being able to represent Indian cinema at Cannes. She described her moment at the festival as “amazing” and said that she and the entire team were proud of their film’s world premiere.
