“Cannes 2023: Urvashi Rautela’s Fashion Faux Pas on the Red Carpet”

Urvashi Rautela has made quite an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival this year, walking the red carpet four times. Unfortunately, each time seems to have been worse than the last, with her fashion choices leaving a lot to be desired.

Descending Fashion Trajectory

A quick glance at her previous red carpet looks at Cannes shows a descending fashion trajectory:

• Look 1: Urvashi wore a hot pink ruffled Sima Couture gown with a Cartier necklace in the shape of two crocodiles.
• Look 2: She was seen in another ruffled Sima Couture gown, this time in orange with an embellished bodice that took the dress to the edge of tacky.
• Look 3: Urvashi opted for a Saiid Kobesy gown and paired it with blue lips, a la Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes some years ago. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for her either.

Fashion Faux Pas

For her fourth and final appearance this year, Urvashi Rautela appeared in a form-fitting green gown seemingly made of feathers with trailing sleeve attachments, which she tossed up on the red carpet. She completed her look with a matching green feathered cap, which did not do well for her fashion game.

Other Indian Celebrities

Urvashi Rautela was not the only Indian celebrity in attendance at Cannes this year. Other celebrities include Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan, Mrunal Thakur, Manushi Chhillar, Esha Gupta, Vijay Varma, Anurag Kashyap, Sunny Leone, Mouni Roy, Vignesh Shivan, Anushka Sharma, and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Despite her unfortunate fashion choices, Urvashi Rautela still managed to grab eyeballs and hog the limelight on the red carpet. Hopefully, next year, she’ll be able to redeem herself fashion-wise.
