Salman Khan rules out marriage at 57

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who remains one of the most eligible bachelor in the Hindi film industry at the age of 57, has revealed that he will not be tying the knot anytime soon. Despite having had relationships with high-profile actresses such as Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, and Sangeeta Bijlani, among others, Salman has remained unmarried until now.

Shifted focus

During a recent media event in Abu Dhabi, a journalist told Salman that she had fallen in love with him the moment she saw him. Salman, however, tried to shift her focus, initially insisting that she was referring to fellow Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. When she insisted that she was talking about Salman, he replied, “My days of getting married are over,” adding that she should have met him 20 years earlier.

Failed attempts

Salman has come close to getting married on several occasions but has never actually gone through with it. He previously admitted on the talk show Koffee with Karan that he had wanted to marry Sangeeta Bijlani, but it hadn’t worked out. Reports suggest that Salman and Sangeeta’s wedding was even fixed at one point before the actor backed out at the last moment.

Rumours persist

Despite his assertion that his unmarried days are behind him, Salman’s love life remains a source of fascination for many Bollywood observers. The actor has been linked with a number of women over the years, with rumours currently suggesting that he is in a relationship with Iulia Vantur. However, there has been no official update on their status as a couple.

Iulia’s views

At the Abu Dhabi event, Iulia was asked about Salman’s dress sense. She initially appeared reluctant to answer the question, but eventually smiled and said that “Salman always looks good whatever he wears.”
